Dylan Zambo, born 7/11/77, has been playing percussion instruments at school and for personal enjoyment since kindergarten. Having gone to a progressive elementary school in Berkeley, CA, he has participated in many parades and other public events, so performing comes naturally to him. Back in High School, he played in jazz band, but his musical career would be altered for good soon after discovering the band Nirvana. Drumming was no longer limited to background rythymns; now his instrument could be a much more prominent part of music, thanks to this newly found style.
Aside from Nirvana, his interests include Radiohead, the Cure, Afghan Whigs, Prince (mostly the early stuff), Rage Against The Machine, and Hum. Primarily, anything that is unique catches his attention. He has an extensive music collection, and cites 80's modern rock as another major influence.
Dylan lives with his soon-to-be Mrs. Zambo, Sandra, and their cat. Recently, his childhood kitty, Pumpkin, passed away and is buried in the yard by his house. He is still recovering from the loss.
